Test Probe 32 IEC 61032 Figure 15
Test Probe 32 is a special safety test tool designed in accordance with IEC 61032 (Figure 15) and GB/T 16842. It is mainly used to verify the protection capability of fan guards against dangerous moving parts such as fan blades.
1. Core Application
Simulate accidental human contact to check whether the openings of the fan guard allow the 25 mm diameter probe to reach and touch internal rotating parts.Suitable for safety certification and factory inspection of household and commercial fans (table fans, stand fans, ceiling fans, etc.).
2. Standard Specifications
- Probe diameter: 25 ± 0.1 mm
- Probe length: 80 ± 0.2 mm
- Material: Metal (stainless steel / high carbon steel) + nylon handle
- Standards: IEC 61032:1997 Figure 15, GB/T 16842 Figure 15
- Test method: Push the probe gently without obvious force to check if it touches dangerous parts.
3. Test Points
- Inspect the probe for bending or deformation to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Push the probe gently from all directions of the fan guard to simulate accidental contact.
- If the probe can touch the fan blades, the protection is deemed unqualified.
