Overview
The TT-QY102 performs the ball pressure test of IEC 60695-10-2, which checks the heat resistance of rigid non-metallic materials used in electrical accessories and appliances. The specimen is placed in a heating box at 125 ± 2 °C, a 5 mm pressure ball presses it with a 20 N load for one hour, and the specimen is then soaked in water at 20 ± 5 °C for 10 seconds. The indentation diameter is measured; if it stays within 2 mm, the specimen passes.
Key Features
The apparatus consists of the loading device and the specimen holder. The holder is a solid stainless steel cylinder with a smooth surface that supports the specimen horizontally, and its large mass limits the temperature drop while specimens are installed or removed.
